  1. I enjoyed your guys’ conversation. I was happy to hear that meditation and exercise can help one center themselves before digging deep for the LSAT. The biggest issue seems to be all the outliers that affect any single person’s capabilities on the LSAT: having families, working full time, serious life issues, ailments, emotional stress, the list goes on. As these are all things that EVERYONE faces, having a set of tools, alongside the standard fake it till you make i.e. practice a shit ton, helps one to think about the LSAT in a new light, and maybe even learn something new about themselves.

    I found all the information presented in your podcast helpful, as it allowed me to surround myself with concepts and theories that you tried, haven’t tried, or are attempting to introduce into your curricula. This is exactly how the LSAT seems to work, I am thankful to say. It surrounds the test-taker with information, sometimes integral, most of the time useless, and asks us, essentially, to make the decision for ourselves.

    In my own experience, through Nathan’s course, I’ve found the LSAT to be therapeutic in a way. It has helped me to determine what it is I find important in my own life, to put off whatever is not important at the time, or do away with things I’ve found are not important at all. After the initial shock, it allowed me to reassess my values and my priorities, and to not only make decisions, but to make the best one after proper evaluation.

    These intangibles, it seems to me, are what it takes to master the LSAT. Having it spelled out in plain English helps it all sink in a bit easier.

  2. testanxietyguru.com doesn’t seem to be a thing. I just started listening but have ya’ll kept up with/started meditating? Any further advice on this? I PTed 169 Sept 14 and got a 159 on the 16th D: Trying anything to reduce test day anxiety as I’m a splitter (3.44) hoping for at least a T1 school + money and worried waiting for Dec’s results will put me too far back in the cycle.

      I have not been meditating, but I keep thinking I should try again. I’m sure it would be good for me in a variety of ways. I just never make a point of doing it. I always end up playing video games instead 🙂
